Why is it that most drivers never clear the windows on their cars before they drive off? The number of folks I see peering through a four inch hole in the snow on their windscreen and with a roof full of snow that you just know is going to slide off onto the windscreen later in the day - lazieness is gonna get them (or someone) else hurt.
TEN MINUTES CLEARING YOUR CAR WILL SAVE TEN WEEKS IN HOSPITAL!
The place to get it off your chest. Life is to short not to moan about things that annoy you!!

SNOW - ITS JUST WEATHER
So we have a little snow (well Ok we've got a lot of snow) but why do we need to moan about it so much? Everyone is talking about it and it is the headlines on every paper and TV channel.
If there is snow on the ground you don't need to go out. Sit in front of the fire and do nothing! If you do go out put on more clothes, drive carelfully and put on your wellies!
THERE YOU ARE - NOW STOP MOANING AND GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE - ENJOY THE SNOW

STUDENT PROTESTS
Just watched the latest "student" protests on the TV. How can so called educated people justify the actions of the louts who were there to cause trouble. There is no way in this world that setting fires, staining public buildings with graffitti, wrecking vans and cars and injuring police officers can be justified.
Don't they realise that their actions all have significant cost implications that will jeopordise the very budgets that they are fighting for?
I am all for the right to peaceful protest but if there is the potential of trouble and violence the organiser should think of other ways to get over their point.
LET'S ALL PROTEST ABOUT THESE PROTESTS

FOOT IN MOUTH
The day we have student riots in London because the Government decide to raise university fees, our esteemed Prime Minister is in China telling their student population that if he raises fees for British students they will be able to subsidise the fees of international students!
Sorry.....I don't believe I heard that! We in Bankrupt Britain have to dig even deeper into our pockets in order that we can offer university places to foriegn students. Don't get me wrong I am not xenophobic. I think that a rich cultural mix is to be encouraged BUT surely the job of the British Government is first and foremost to look after the well being of its citizens. I fail to see Mr Cameron's logic in this one.
PERHAPS OUR GOVERNMENT SHOULD ENROL ON A UNIVERSITY COURSE ON BASIC ECONOMICS

MOBILE PHONES
Why are people these days ruled by their mobile phones?
I was on a flight the other day and as we were landing the cabin crew gave us the usual information and said not to switch on mobile phones till we were on stand and the doors open.
I swear that as rubber touched tarmac I saw two business me reach for their mobile phones and turn them on.
What is so important that they risk the safety of the aircraft and all the passengers? The plane took less than 5 minutes to taxi to the stand. Surely they could have waited that long to read their text messages or emails.

PRISONER NOOKIE
So prisoners in our jails have "a right to family life" and are claiming their right to have sex with their partners while they are behind bars.
Once again the human rights bandwagon rolls on. The human rights legislation was aimed at preventing GROSS infringement by governments such as committing genocide. NOT protecting the conjugal rights of some little scum bag locked up in prison.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME DON'T DO THE CRIME.

CANNED LAUGHTER
Watched a program on TV last night. It was supposed to be a comedy and there was an audience, but still the director decided that at every opportunity he would put in a little false laughter.
I am sorry but if the humour was so good the audience would laugh and there would be no need for the obviously dubbed laughter.
CAN THE CANNED LAUGHTER PLEASE
