PRESENT TO INDIA

Our dear Government has again managed to find cash in the corner of the piggy back.  Apparently we are aiding India with a huge cash injection.  Nice to know we have the money to give to the one of the worlds fastest growing economies.  I presume it is a loan! and we will get it back when our status as a third world nation is acknowledged.

Funny how in the same news bulletin it was announced that 500 jobs were to go in the NHS to save around £50m

I SUPPOSE WE HAVE TO FIND THE MONEY TO PAY OUR FOREIGN AID DONATIONS FROM SOMEWHERE!

RECYCLE BINS

A local council in England now expect its citizens to put their rubbish into one of 9 different bins.  There are bins for paper, plastics, fabrics, bottles, general waste, food waste etc etc.

SOON WE'LL BE HAVING BINS FOR BINS!

THE BIG SOCIETY

David Cameron has this great wheeze of an idea for his government - the "Big Society ". . .   We the public pays for all of our local services, volunteer to the work the government would normally do (repainting schools and public buildings, clean the streets etc)

Call me a cynic but doesn't this absolve the government of the financial responsibility allowing them to pay themselves all their expenses and make huge charitable donations to third world countries with my hard end cash!!!

LITTLE OLD LADY

A Little Old Lady in England saw a robbery taking place - 5 yobs on motor cycles smashing a jewellers shop window to steal watches.  She attacks them with her shopping bag and scares them off.  Well done I say - so why the moan?

The footage of the whole event was captured on someone's mobile phone.  Excuse me but rather than take the video shouldn't the owner of the phone gone to the assistance of the old lady?  What about all the other passers by who appeared on the video - shouldn't they have got involved and cracked a few skulls? 

It was only as the old lady scattered the yobs and one fell off his motor bike did any one else get involved. 


IF WE IGNORE THIS SORT OF THING THE BAD GUYS WIN!
