Back in July I moaned that the government had ring fenced the Foriegn Aid budget in the, then, upcoming spending review. Well...now we have had the review not only did they ring fence it, they have increased it by £3bn.
We are giving away my hard earned cash to help underprivileged countries. In the normal course of events I don't mind but when we are all being hit, this increase is outrageous. That amount of money could provide about 300 new schools, 20 new hospitals and could have kept our defence capability up by funding the, soon to be scrapped, Harrier Jet fleet.
COME ON GUYS - WE ARE ALL BEING TOLD THAT THE COUNTRY HAS NOTHING LEFT IN THE PIGGY BANK BUT YOU KEEP FINDING SOME CASH UNDER THE BED!
