ORGANISERS SHOULD GET A MEDAL

Sophie Unwin and Georgia Holt came third in the 2022 Commonwealth Games cycling tandem B sprint.

Well done ladies.  However, as there were only 4 competitors, they could not be awarded a bronze medal (rules are rules you know).

The pair wanted to celebrate their win and borrowed a couple of bronze medals for a photo call.  

Now the organisers of the game have fined the couple £172 each for their actions.

In anyones book coming 3rd is a great achievement, the fact there were only four racers should not deprive these two of a little piece of metal to hang round their necks.

COMPETITORS WHO COME THIRD AND BORROW AND WEAR SOMEONE ELSE'S MEDAL SHOULD NOT DEPRIVE ORGANISERS FROM BEING PETTY
