THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS

Schools in Texas are arming their principals, teachers, assistants and jannies to be ready to respond to an attack by a nutter with an automatic weapon. Even kids as young as 6 are being trained to shoot a gun.

Now its reported that someone has invented a school desk that is bullet proof and, at the flick of a switch, turns into a ballistic shield.

Surely, rather than looking at a response to a threat, they should put effort into removing it.

We keep hearing Americans refer to their constitutional "right to bear arms".  That "right" was gifted in 1789 when "arms" were not automatic and semi automatic firearms that can wipe out a classroom of kids in a few seconds.

AMERICANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS BUT THE ALSO HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE WITHOUT THE THREAT OF NUTTERS WITH GUNS.
